5 Healthy Breakfast Meals For Weight Loss

According to webMD, for years, diet and nutrition experts have said a morning meal is a wise idea. But after a University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) study showed that overweight breakfast eaters weren’t any more likely to slim down than those who skipped it, many were left wondering if they should bother, after all.

That may be why other studies show that breakfast does help with weight loss. In fact, more than 75% of people who lose more than 30 pounds and keep it off eat the morning meal every single day.

These five healthy breakfasts help to lose weight.

1. Peanut butter

Toast is the best choice. But do not rub with butter. Butter contains fats that help process vitamins, but also contains a lot of saturated fats that can cause damage to the heart as well as weight gain.

Instead, rub the peanut butter over the toast. Studies have shown that pure peanut butter can help you feel less hungry during the day, as it increases the production of the peptide YY, a hormone that regulates hunger, which makes it the best breakfast to start your day.

2. Do Not Take Cereal But Oatmeal

The most popular breakfast cereal contains large amounts of sugar which later becomes belly fat. So, switch to sugar-free oatmeal that contains a healthy amount of fiber and almost no sugar. Reducing your sugar intake in the morning can help you avoid feeling tired at midnight.

3. Low-Fat or Full-Fat Yogurt

Many choose lean yogurt for breakfast. Unfortunately, it often contains a lot of sugar to add a little flavor and protein. Studies show that fatty yogurt helps to lose weight.

4. Fresh Fruits

Most fruit juices you buy in the market contain sugar just like soda. Makes it one of the worst choices for breakfast. It also contains no fiber. Find alternatives to eating fresh plain fruit. This is a good method to activate your digestive system in the morning.

5. Say No To Frozen Pancakes, Waffles

Although easy to prepare, most pancakes and frozen waffles contain refined carbohydrates. It is not necessarily bad, but refined carbohydrates can make you feel hungry during the day. It also contains little fiber and a lot of trans fats which are dangerous to health.

Instead of eating pancakes or waffles, replace them with full toast. Make sure you choose wholemeal instead of white bread.
