Strong Earthquake 6.3 Richter Scale Reported In The Philippines This Morning

A magnitude 6.3 earthquake was reported to have hit Batangas province on the main island of Luzon at about 7.45 am local time today, GMA News Online reported.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVLOCS) says the epicenter was reported in Calatagan, Batangas.

Metro Manila and nearby provinces also felt the quake.

However, no tsunami threat was reported. Any damage or accident has not yet been determined.
