The Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, through a Special Announcement of Emergency today informed that elections will not be held during the emergency in force.
“During the emergency period, the General Elections (PRU), State Elections (PRN) and By-Elections (PRK) will not be held,” he said.
Apart from that, he also informed that the Dewan Rakyat will not sit until a date set by the YDPA.
