Sudden Existence of Small Island In Indonesia After Being Hit By Seroja Cyclone Thunderstorm

Not so long ago, a particular small island has been reported to have suddenly appeared specifically in Loaholu district, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) after being hit by Seroja Cyclone Thunderstorm which has battered the area. According to reliable sources, the incident is still being studied by many local authorities. To this day, the emergence of this new island is still a question mark for many.

East Nusa Tenggara Governor that is Josef Nae Soi said, they are still studying whether this mysterious island appeared due to Seroja Cyclone Thunderstorm or not. Previously, it was reported that several small islands appeared in East Nusa Tenggara due to receding sea levels.

NTT government spokesman that is Marius Ardu Jemalu said one of the theories regarding the emergence of this new island was due to the big waves caused by Seroja Cyclone Thunderstorm. He also added, “Maybe when the tornado hit, a void was created on the ocean floor leading to the land residue to be brought over and filling the void”.

Hence, the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) will be conducting research on the new island to solve the mystery of its birth.
