(Video) This McDonald’s Is The Only One In the World With Blue ‘M’ Logo

The ‘Golden Arches’ McDonald’s logo is one of the most iconic commercial symbols in the world. Everybody knows they will be ‘lovin’ it’ when they see the glowing arches from miles away. However, there is one place in the world where the arches are blue instead of yellow.

The McDonald’s outlet in Sedona, Arizona boasts blue arches instead of yellow on the outside of their restaurant. The town is known for its natural attractions and rock formations. The natural landscape there consists of red rock and desert, making the logo blend instead of standing out.

Hence, the local franchisee Greg Cook approached the Community Development Department about the logo. In the end, they opted to adopt the teal (greenish-blue) of the shopping center next door, which was considered a more tame option.

In the long run, this outlet is now a tourist attraction. “I’ve seen people get out and take pictures in front of the sign with their families,” development services manager, Nicholas Gioello, said.

Even the cups and containers are blue! Might worth taking a trip there and add the containers to your collection.

To this day, the town of Sedona continues to enforce special laws that regulate sign brightness, exterior lighting, and the colors of building materials in order to preserve the natural beauty of the area.

The turquoise arches are actually a good contrast to the red rocks natural background and it also matches the turquoise waters of the Arizonian water wonders.
