For the first time in the club’s history, FC Barcelona will replace their partner’s logo with an artist logo. This is part of the deal between Barcelona and Spotify, the world’s most popular music streaming service.
The Catalan club will don the shirt on Sunday’s match with rivals, Real Madrid.
This historic moment is done to celebrate Drake’s achievement as the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify. The shirt will have Drake’s logo, the distinctive OVO Sound logo, on it.

This marks a big step in the partnership between FC Barcelona and Spotify.
FC Barcelona and Spotify have been working together since July 1. The Club’s strategic goal is to aggressively seek out partners who share the Club’s values and philosophy.
“One of the main ideas behind the alliance between FC Barcelona and Spotify is to bring football and music together in order to connect with new audiences around the world,” Barcelona said in a statement.
Marc Hazan, Spotify VP of Partnerships, said “We were really excited to celebrate one of the biggest games of the year and mark Drake’s milestone as the first artist to reach 50 billion streams.”
“We’ve always said that we want this partnership to be a celebration of fans, players, and artists on a global stage—and there’s no bigger stage than El Clásico.”
Drake revealed the shirt design to his 122 million followers on Instagram. Fans will get a chance to see the shirt in all its glory during this Sunday’s match.
