Everyone uses cooking oil to cook as it is a must-have ingredient in the kitchen. We use cooking oil to properly sauté, cook, or fry our food ingredients. However, after we’ve done cooking, most of us will just toss away the cooking oil and that’s it.

Isn’t that a waste? Instead of just tossing away used cooking oil, did you know that we can sell used cooking oil and make money from it? For your information, the price per kilogramme of used cooking oil is currently higher than new cooking oil.

Arus Oil is located at Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Besides, Arus Oil is a user-friendly platform that has been developed in response to market demand. In addition, they offer a convenient and cost-free collecting service that comes right to your home.

All you need to do is download the application, sign up and make an appointment. As easy as ABC right?

Selling rate:

• RM1.30 for 10kg and below (minimum 5kg)
• Rm1.60 for 50 kg and below
• Rm1.90 for 100 kg and below
• Rm2.20 for 100 kg and above

3. Oilin Malaysia

Unlike many door-to-door pickup services, this waste management firm does not need a minimum sale before charging any fees, although there are still additional fees involved.

Selling rate:

• RM1.00 for 1kg

• RM1.20/kg for 10kg and below

• RM1.40/kg for above 50kg

• RM1.60/kg for above 100kg

4.  Trash4Cash

This company also provides a door-to-door service to recycle used cooking oil as well as various other items that want to be recycled such as old newspapers, plastic, and glass.

• RM1.10/kg for less than 20kg

• RM1.20/kg for less than 50kg

• RM1.40/kg for less than 50kg

5. TREE CYCLE Biodiesel

Next, collection services are provided by Tree Cycle Biodiesel from both commercial and residential locations. For your information, this company used to recycle roughly 15,000 kg of wasted cooking oil per month.

6. Captain Oil

Then, we have Captain Oil. Captain Oil is a licensed oil collector that you can contact for collection of used oil around your area. However, if you have a lot of oil to sell, don’t worry! Besides, they will provide suitable barrels with minimal price offers.
