Many Malaysians find Genting Highlands, also known as the “City of Entertainment” to be the ideal vacation spot. Those looking to get away from Kuala Lumpur’s stifling heat and humidity often flock to Genting Highlands.

Ticket price
For your information, the operating hour is from 11 am to 6 pm every day. As for the ticket, here are the prices (1 day):
- standard ticket: RM 151
- ticket with photo+: Rm 179
- ticket for Pahang Citizen: Rm 113 (40% discount)

However, for Pahang people, you can only buy a walk-in ticket. Next, don’t forget to bring your identification card as well.

Buying the ticket
According to @adyppp, the first thing that you need to do is download Genting Skyworld apps. Then, buy the ticket and link it with the apps. Get 6 VQ (virtual queue) reservations, after that, you can book any ride that you want online.
Extra note, you can only get the VQ on the day you want to go. You can VQ for 3 rides first, and after you’ve done with your rides, then you can VQ the others.
Parking
Prices of the parking are stated below:
- Monday – Friday
– 1st hour RM2
– Every subsequent hour RM2
– 6 hours up to a maximum daily rate of RM12
- Weekend, Public Holiday
– 1st hour RM3
– Every subsequent hour RM3
– 6 hours up to a maximum daily rate of RM18
No need to bring cash!
Moreover, according to him, Genting does not accept cash. Other than that, everything that you want to buy such as tickets, food, and others does not use cash. Also, Genting only accepts cashless payments at their theme park.
For your information, Genting SkyWorlds is a cashless theme park. So, make sure to prepare a GeMCash (Resorts World Genting e-Wallet) through the Resorts World Genting mobile app. Or, you can to any GeMCash kiosks inside the park to buy things, reload, and refund.
In addition, Genting also takes debit and credit cards, QR Pay, E-Wallet, and Genting Points. These are all forms of contactless payment accepted at Genting.
Food
There are restaurants and cafes at the theme park. For Muslims, don’t worry! There is halal food available as well.
Locker available
There are also rides that prepare lockers to put your things in. Moreover, the staff will ask you to put your sling bags, mobile phones, spectacles, and other things in the lockers provided. Don’t worry, these lockers are free to use! In addition, there are paid lockers as well.
