Hopping Into The New Year Of 2023

Hopping into the auspicious year of 2023, Pandora celebrates the excitement of  Chinese New Year in one of Penang’s most famous malls, Gurney Plaza on 6th January, Friday from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm to commemorate the launch of Pandora’s newest collections. Invited guests comprising of media and influencers were all in attendance for this event at the pop-up booth for an exclusive collection viewing and simultaneously shop for presents to gift their loved ones.

The event kickstarted with a brief introduction, and then guests were ushered around the booth to view the jewellery where they were also styled in the latest collections and enjoyed themselves by taking photos with one another. In addition to that, guests were also provided with treats and beverages by our partner of the day, Chateraise; a Japanese confectionery chain that served delectable and pleasant financiers & dacquoises hosted our guests a mini high-tea session. The event ended with the happy smiles of guests writing in their 2023  resolutions and good wishes.

The pop-up booth is set to be from 6th January – 23rd January 2023, right at the heart of the entrance to the centre court, blending in beautifully as Pandora’s façade filled with signature colours of pink and white, merges seamlessly Gurney Plaza’s Chinese New Year decorations. Taking the spotlight, the all-new Chinese Year of the Rabbit charm was an immediate favourite. With its design of a 3D rabbit holding a heart-shaped stone, made with a 14k rose gold-plated blend, many have set their eyes on this adorable charm as a must-have, especially for this year of the rabbit. Aside from the Chinese New Year-themed collection, Pandora Malaysia also showcased its Valentine’s collection that highlights new motifs and love shapes that already give couples the butterflies ahead of the upcoming romantic occasion.

Furthermore, Pandora also took the opportunity now to introduce a new texture of chain that offers even more styling opportunities, the all-new Pandora Moments Studded Chain series. Creative directors A. Filippo  Ficarelli and Francesco Terzo explain: “We developed a pattern consisting of different geometric shapes,  requiring new tools and techniques to create what is now a chain with a unique look”. Equally striking is the chain’s new clasp design – a hand-finished sterling silver heart with a spring-back closure that allows for effortless use. The new light texture of the chain makes it ideal for everyday wear and is available as both a  bracelet and necklace. Whether worn alone as a statement piece or as a tool for storytelling loaded with charms, the new Moments Studded Chain is the ultimate eye-catcher for the New Year.

The pop-up booth is still receiving a great response overall at Gurney Plaza. Aside from the event, attractive ongoing promotions continue to excite many customers such as receiving an exclusive Pandora Red Packet and RM50 cash voucher with every minimum purchase of RM388.
