To Increase Driver’s Income Maxim E-hailing Shares Options For Partner-Drivers
According to the data from Bank Muamalat, the cost of living inflation for 2025 will be increasing between 3% to 3.5% compared to the previous forecast of 2.5%, according to the rationlisation increment of RON95 petrol subsidies set to take effect. Early January, e-hailing drivers took part by submitting a memorandum to the minister of transportation for a minimum ride fare to be imposed to boost their income. Maxim shows the ways in which partners can increase their income and earn more money.
Maxim has several features in its app that allow partner-drivers to decrease their expenses and make more money.
Buying Shifts
Active drivers are allowed to buy shifts (6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours); during the purchased shift, no commission fees are applied to fulfilled orders. This lets partner-drivers earn more money within the specified period, thus increasing their overall income.
Car Branding
Drivers who agree to put branding stickers on their cars get monthly incentives and a reduced commission rate. This gives benefits to both parties, as by having brand stickers on the vehicle, drivers may gain greater trust from users.
Auto-Assignment Function
The function can be turned on and off, depending on the partner-driver’s preference. Turning it off lets partner-drivers choose orders nearest to them on their own.
Maxim has the auto-assignment feature that automatically assigns orders to partner-drivers in the app. This system analyses orders received in the app and offers partner-drivers new bookings in their vicinity. If the driver is already on the way with the passenger, the auto-assignment function offers them the next trip with the pick-up point near the destination of their current trip. This way, drivers are able to fulfil orders one by one, in a chain, and work more efficiently.
On top of all that, using the auto-assignment feature allows partner-drivers to make more money. This is because the service commission rate for auto-assigned orders is lower; moreover, using this feature increases the efficiency of work as well as the number of completed orders. In addition, it enables partner-drivers to reduce fuel costs, since the distance they have to cover to get to the next pick-up point is shorter. This also provides for a better quality of driving and concentration, since partner-drivers don’t need to use their phones and scroll for orders.
Discounts Programs
Maxim provides its partner-drivers with special discounts on car service and tire change. The company cooperates with several workshops to give special discounts and help partner-drivers maintain their cars in good condition. They can take advantage of this privilege by showing the Taxsee app to the mechanic.
In 2024, Maxim also conducted a first free petrol campaign to decrease the level of fuel expenses, boost partner-drivers’ spirits and show appreciation to those who had worked hard, completed the most orders, achieved high rating and showed a good attitude. This special offer was made available to all partner-drivers.
