LADA Unveils ‘Langkawi Special Deals’ with MAG Partnership to Supercharge Island Tourism

The Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) has launched “Langkawi Special Deals”, a strategic tourism campaign featuring irresistible travel offers and rebates designed to attract domestic travellers to the island.

Officiated by YB Puan Lim Hui Ying, Deputy Minister of Finance, Malaysia, the campaign aims to boost tourism during Langkawi’s off-peak season and foster stronger collaboration among tourism players through a unified promotional platform.

“As we approach Visit Malaysia Year 2026, the Government is committed to supporting the growth of our tourism sector through strategic promotions and impactful partnerships. Initiatives like Langkawi Special Deals are key in making Malaysia a world-class destination,” said YB Lim during the launch.

Exclusive Deals & Unmatched Value

The campaign offers discounts of up to 70% across participating attractions, hotels, F&B outlets, duty-free stores, and transport operators in Langkawi.

“It’s vital for Langkawi’s tourism players to work together in making the island a premier destination. Langkawi Special Deals will serve as a strong platform for this collaboration, and we aim to make it an annual highlight,” said Datuk Seri Haji Iskandar bin Datuk Haji Mohd Kaus, CEO of LADA.

Strategic Partnership with MAG

To elevate the campaign, LADA signed an MoU with Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG). Through MHholidays, travellers can enjoy Flight + Hotel packages with savings of up to RM400, while Journify adds an extra RM30 rebate on tours and attractions for customers who book these packages.

“These offerings go beyond discounts, they deliver a premium, seamless travel experience backed by Malaysian Hospitality,” said Philip See, CEO of Loyalty & Travel Services, MAG.

Langkawi Special Deals will run from 1 October to 31 December 2025, with more partners expected to join soon. For full details, visit LADA’s official channels or Malaysia Airlines’ MHholidays platform.
