Exactly on 8 March 2014 (1.09 a.m.), MH370 vanished from the radar. Sadly, that moment is the beginning of an eternal longing and a search that has yet to find its end.

Years of Efforts to Find MH370
2014
This was the year that marked the beginning of this mysterious tragedy. Malaysia and several other countries vigorously carried out search operations.
2015
On 29 July, the first debris of MH370 was discovered on La Réunion Island.
2016-2018
Over the years, the search operations have continued. It led to the discovery of several pieces of MH370 debris (confirmed).
However, on 8 June 2018, Ocean Infinity made the decision to end the search mission given that no solid results had yet emerged from this mission.
2024
A thread of hope began to stir in the hearts of Malaysians. By fortune, the Minister of Transport (MOT), Anthony Loke, agreed to accept Ocean Infinity’s offer to continue the search mission.
The team will conduct this operation in a new area in the southern Indian Ocean, consisting of 15,000 square kilometres.
As if Malaysia always rides a wave of luck, the operation will follow the principle of ‘No find, no fee.’
Important Announcement from MOT
As December raises its flag, we are supposedly reaching the end of a chapter. However, 2025 will bring us a new storyline this time.
On the upcoming 30 December, the search operation will resume in collaboration with Ocean Infinity (55 days). It’s the beginning of hope for all of us.
In line with their vow of “No find, no fee”, Ocean Infinity will only be paid if the mission yields satisfactory results.
