Why Abang Usop and Dicky Yau are ‘Healing the Timeline’ Right Now

If your faith in humanity needed a recharge, look no further. The saga of Abang Usop (the legendary mechanic from Minyak Hitam Jalanan) and Dicky Yau has taken a turn so wholesome, it’s practically a movie script.

The two are currently viral again, but not for a roadside breakdown. This time, they are literally “fighting” over who can be more generous.

The RM3,000 Plot Twist

Remember Dicky? The single father who was stranded at midnight and had his repair bill waived by Abang Usop? After their story touched the hearts of Malaysians, the community rallied behind him. Dicky managed to collect between RM5,000 to RM6,000 in “gifts” and donations from his social media livestreams.

But instead of just keeping the windfall, Dicky showed us what “Main Character Energy” really looks like. He tracked down Abang Usop with RM3,000 in cash half of everything he received, insisting on giving it back as an infak (charitable gift) to the man who first helped him.

The video, which is currently racking up views on Facebook and TikTok, shows an incredibly emotional exchange. In a world where people often chase the “bag,” Abang Usop did the unthinkable: He refused the money.

Even as Dicky broke down in tears, trying to hand over the cash, Abang Usop remained firm. He told Dicky that the money was better spent on his son’s education and his family’s needs.

Why This Matters

Netizens are calling this the “Ultimate Vibe Check.” In an era of clout-chasing, Abang Usop and Dicky Yau are proving that real influence isn’t about how much you have, it’s about how much you’re willing to give back.

Watching two grown men tear up because they’re “fighting” to give each other a better life? That’s the kind of content that deserves to break the internet.
