RIMOWA is expanding its RIMOWA Unique personalisation service to its signature Original collection, allowing travellers to customise their suitcases with colourful accessories that reflect their individual style.
Previously exclusive to the Classic collection, the service is now available for both newly purchased and existing Original suitcases.
The launch also coincides with RIMOWA’s 2026 holiday campaign, featuring a series of handcrafted miniature worlds brought to life through stop-motion films.
Three Accessories, 12 Colours to Choose From
RIMOWA Unique offers three customisable accessories: wheels, handles and leather address tags.
The accessories can be mixed and matched through tonal combinations or contrasting colours for a more personalised look.
Travellers can choose from 10 permanent shades, including Ocean, Clover, Cactus, Taupe, Cognac, Rose, Orchid, Paprika, Clementine and Sunflower, alongside two seasonal colours, Grape and Cloud.
Each accessory also comes with its own craftsmanship details:
- Original Handle Set: Handcrafted in Europe with matte-finished cowhide leather and a soft-return mechanism for quieter closure. Available for Original Silver Cabin, Check-in and Trunk sizes.
- Unique Wheel Sets: Made in France and equipped with RIMOWA’s Multiwheel system. The D65 and D50 sets are designed to fit selected Original suitcase sizes and can be installed using a T20 screwdriver.
- Address Tag: Made in Italy from full-grain cowhide leather, featuring an adjustable strap and an embossable address card for further personalisation.
A Holiday Campaign Inspired by Everyday Moments
The launch is accompanied by RIMOWA’s holiday campaign, which explores the simple pleasures of everyday life through handcrafted miniature settings.
Made using materials such as clay, paper, felt and wood, the stop-motion films feature imaginative scenes inspired by moments like enjoying a window seat, discovering new hobbies and taking time to reconnect with nature.
The campaign presents customised suitcases as personal companions for the journeys and experiences that lie ahead.
