S Money Australia has revealed that MYAirline is one of the world’s most loved airlines in a survey conducted on Twitter users. The survey, conducted last December, involved major airline brands worldwide and MYAirline took the honors in the Rest of Asia & Oceania segment. Published on its site, the findings largely reflect the public sentiment garnered by various airlines across the world.
Garnering 57.5% of positive tweets out of 4,000 singled out, netizens tweeting at and about the airline’s official handle @FlyMyAirline had praises for its helpful ground crew as well as customer service from the live chat agents. Other netizens were raving about the low fares and seat availability as a new airline at the time. More positive points included the generous legroom, middle seat size, and baggage allowance along with a punctual, comfortable journey. Comparatively, the next highest-rated airline in the region netted a score of 45%.
“We are excited to learn of this development which reassures us that we are keeping passengers close to our heart at all times,” said Rayner Teo, CEO of MYAirline. “We have certainly addressed some of the teething issues and constantly make improvements to our operations since then. Being reliable and transparent with our passengers is key for us. I hope that we will remain at the top during the next poll. If that remains so, then we are doing things right, especially when it is reflective of the customer experience. I am deeply thankful to our colleagues who have made this possible in the first place and our passengers for putting their trust and faith in a fledgling airline such as ours. I hope that you will continue to support us as we achieve greater heights in the near future.”
MYAirline prides itself on creating accessibility while not forgetting the importance of passenger satisfaction, via customer service, reliability, and efficiency. Flying to eight domestic destinations, its route network consists of economic and tourism hotspots such as Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Langkawi, Kota Bharu, Penang, Sibu, Tawau, and Miri.
