“For Now, No Parade Events Will Be Held On Merdeka Day” – Ismail Sabri

As what is stated by Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri on today press conference, it is announced that the parade in conjunction with the Merdeka Day celebrations will not be held.

He said in the press conference that the parade will not be held as it involved mass gathering and there is no social distancing. The situation will be difficult to control.

In fact on that day, not only parade event but various events will not be allowed to be held. So, the government decided not to held any events on Merdeka Day.
