Have you listened to the song, Driver’s License that started a trend on Tik Tok? Well, American actress and singer, Olivia Rodrigo dropped the ‘good 4 u’ music video last Friday, and undoubtedly, it becomes another song that is stuck in the mind of Tik Tok’s users.
As for now, the music video is at the tenth place of trending music on Youtube. The third single of her forthcoming debut album, SOUR is said to be a resemblance of Paramore, and the music video itself is intense and filled with deep elements.
Here are 6 details you may have missed from the ‘good 4 u’ music video:
1) The cheerleader uniform worn by Olivia is the same one from ‘The Princess Diaries’.

In the famous 2001 movie ‘The Princess Diaries’, the cheerleaders wear blue-and-white uniforms and in Rodrigo’s ‘good 4 u’, she was seen wearing the near-exact model of the uniforms.
2) The music video uses a lot of the six number.

If you pay attention to the small details, you can see that there are six cellphones used to take a pic of Rodrigo and six backup cheerleaders in this music video.
It may or not be a coincidence but, ‘good 4 u’ is the sixth track on her upcoming debut album, SOUR.
3) There are few similarities to ‘Jennifer’s Body’, the classic anti-misogyny film.

In the 2009 horror movie, Megan Fox plays Jennifer, a pretty cheerleader who transformed into a demon after a ritual gone wrong. From the music video, it can be said that both characters are versions of self-obsessed mean girls. There are sectoral and visual parallels between the malicious character of Olivia in ‘good 4 u’and Megan’s role.
4) There is a scene of breaking into an ex’s house in the music video.

In the song, Olivia sang a line of “You found a new girl and it only took a couple weeks” and in the video, she ruined a bedroom that definitely belongs to a teenage boy by trashing and flooding it.
5) A fire scene is a resemblance of Taylor Swift’s ‘Picture To Burn‘.

Olivia Rodrigo has been a swiftie, Taylor Swift’s fan ever since she was a kid. She previously told Elle that the second track on Taylor Swift’s debut album, “Picture to Burn” is her “first-ever favorite song”.
In Taylor’s music video for “Picture to Burn”, she caught her man cheating on her with a different girl and broke into his home to ruin it into pieces. It is no coincidence that Olivia’s music video also used fire to symbolize revenge.
6) A combination of fire and water is actually an idea from Lorde’s music video for ‘Magnets‘.
Apart from being a swiftie, Olivia once said that Lorde is one of her favorite artists and biggest influences.
