Johor Declares Holiday on Sunday as JDT Qualified to Final Piala Malaysia 2022

Johor declares holiday on Sunday. Here’s some good news for all Johor citizens: DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor has declared a holiday this Sunday! It’s due to JDT’s qualification for the final Piala Malaysia 2022 this Saturday!

In the Menteri Besar of Johor’s Facebook post, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi warmly congratulates the success of JDT for their outstanding performance. As expected, JDT is qualified to be in the Piala Malaysia 2022 finals. They will go against another football powerhouse, Selangor.

Also, in his post, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi invites every Johoreans to give their utmost support to them at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil.

Additionally, on behalf of the Johor government, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi voices his appreciation for the support all Johoreans and every die-hard fan of JDT has given to the team.

DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor granted a holiday on Sunday that benefits the supporters of JDT. This public holiday will help eases their plans for the long journey from Johor to Selangor. Also, Tunku Mahkota Johor believes the holiday on Sunday is a safety precaution for anyone travelling back once the match ends.

The declaration of the public holiday is in line with the Seksyen 8 dan 9, Akta Hari Kelepasan 1951 (Akta 369).
