YouTube Soon-To-Be New Feature: What You Need To Know

YouTube will have a new feature? YouTube is one of the most used websites. The variety of features on the platform allows us to search for videos, watch, upload, comment, create playlists, and more.

According to Pop Crave, YouTube is set to launch a new feature. The feature will warn users when it detects comments that are violating the community guidelines on YouTube. The feature will also remove the comments. Not only that but whoever continues to leave comments that violate the rules of the platform will be given a timeout. YouTube will not let them comment on any video for 24 hours.

Not allowing people to ‘bad-mouth’ on comments is one of the best features to reduce negativity on YouTube. Nevertheless, this will be applied to English comments only.

Therefore, that is why people say, “Think before you speak or act.” This rule applies to any social media. If you encounter something that is far from your liking, it is best to just let it be. It would not hurt to not comment on anything.

Sometimes, people are not aware that they are violating community guidelines. Let’s take a look at the the guidelines. Comments or contents that are violating the rules on YouTube are:

  • spam and deceptive
  • sensitive
  • violent and dangerous
  • misinformation

Remember, even if it’s only an online platform, we have to spread positivity instead of negativity! Who knows, by just leaving a simple positive comment, it can make someone’s day!
