Michelle Yeoh must have a big wall of fame at home to place all her trophies. After winning two Best Actress awards at the National Board of Review Awards and Golden Globes, Yeoh is now in the A-list Best Actress category in the Academy award!
Nominated through her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once, Yeoh is now seconds away from earning her third Best Actress title. What makes it sweeter is she’s the first Asian to be nominated in such a category!
In her Instagram post, Yeoh expressed her joy. She thanked every person who worked on the sci-fi film. Additionally, she said, “We are all so grateful to the Academy for recognizing so many from our Everything Everywhere All At Once family.”
Not only that, but Yeoh heartwarmingly expressed her gratitude for Evelyn Wang, one of the characters in the stunning movie. It was Yeoh’s “role of a lifetime.”
