Two Indonesian teens have been arrested by the police for the crime of kidnapping and murdering a child in Makassar. The two boys did the cruel action with the intention of wanting to sell the victim’s organs.
The family of the 11-year-old victim reported the missing of their son to the police on the 8th of January. From the investigation, police found out from the closed-circuit television (CCTV) that the boy was taken on a motorcycle by a teenager.
After identifying the suspect, the police went to his home and arrested him. The suspects of the murder turned out to be a 14 and a 17-year-old teens. It was revealed to the police the location of the missing boy. The police then found the boy’s body under a bridge in Makassar, South Sulawesi.
The police chief of Makassar revealed that the two suspects were lured into criminal activity to earn money to escape financial problems.
It is saddening to see that children or even teenagers have to think about financial problems, let alone being involved in a crime. They are supposed to be happy, studying, and playing with their friends.
The cause of the suspects’ action is also due to gadgets where they found the info of selling organs. Thus, parents should keep an eye on their children, so that problems like this will not occur.
