Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur Makes a Stylish Debut in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur just got a new luxury hotspot. Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ lifestyle portfolio, has officially opened its doors in the bustling Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) district, the city’s newest hub for business, lifestyle, and design-led experiences.

Founded in San Francisco in 1981, Kimpton is known worldwide for hotels that mix bold design with vibrant community energy. Naluria, a name inspired by the Malay words “Naluri” (instinct) and “Ria” (joy), promises guests a stay guided by instinctive happiness and meaningful experiences.

“Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur is all about unique spaces, distinct dining, and genuine human hospitality,” says Paul Cunningham, General Manager. “We want guests to feel the heart and soul of Kuala Lumpur while enjoying unforgettable experiences.”

Designed by award-winning studio Hassell, the hotel follows a “Botanics Beyond Aesthetics” theme, blending Malaysia’s lush parklands with bold, contemporary interiors. Earthy tones, forest greens, and organic textures flow through its 466 rooms and suites, offering sweeping city views of landmarks like Merdeka 118 and KL Tower. Each room features locally inspired touches, luxury bath amenities from ARgENTUM and Penhaligon’s, and even a minibar stocked with Malaysian treats like Pandan Gula Melaka granola and Pasa Cola.

Food lovers are in for a treat. Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur boasts four unique dining concepts:

  • Tuai + Till – Farm-to-table dining with a cozy Malaysian café (Tuai) and a chic Western brasserie (Till).
  • Four Siblings – The first spice-themed rooftop bar in TRX, celebrating the historic spice trade.
  • Rise & Grind – A grab-and-go espresso bar with local Liberica coffee and Kopitiam vibes.
  • Sabato’s – Malaysia’s first retro Italian-American eatery, bringing 1970s disco energy.

Wellness here goes beyond gym sessions. Guests can enjoy rooftop TRX suspension training, yoga at sunrise, personal training, and healthy snacks and beverages in the minibar. Kimpton’s signature perks include in-room yoga mats, complimentary bikes, and morning energisers with cold brew coffee, teh tarik, and detox shots.

From curated forgotten-item kits to social gatherings at Four Siblings, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur brings the brand’s playful, human-centered hospitality to Malaysia. Early 2026 also sees the launch of The Connection Hub, a versatile event space for everything from intimate meetings to social celebrations.

Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur joins a growing lineup of Kimpton hotels in the Asia Pacific and beyond, offering a stylish, design-led retreat for travellers seeking experiences that feel personal, lively, and distinctly local.

For bookings and updates, visit the hotel’s website or follow Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
