RIMOWA Takes Fans Behind The Scenes Of Aya Nakamura’s Historic Stade de France Performances

RIMOWA continues its short-form video series celebrating influential voices in culture, with its latest episode following global music sensation Aya Nakamura as she prepared for her historic performances at Stade de France, France.

Directed by filmmaker Otman Qrita, the latest chapter offers an intimate look at the moments behind the spotlight from rehearsals and backstage preparations to the emotions and dedication that shaped one of the biggest milestones of Aya Nakamura’s career.

The French-Malian artist made history as the first French female artist to perform three consecutive sold-out shows at Stade de France, welcoming more than 220,000 fans across the landmark performances.

Recognised as one of the most influential Francophone artists in the world, Aya Nakamura has transformed the global music scene with her unique sound, authenticity and ability to connect with audiences beyond borders.

Through a behind-the-scenes perspective, the film captures the discipline and teamwork required to bring a major production to life, including intense rehearsals, technical preparations and the efforts of dancers, creatives and production teams working behind the scenes.

Beyond her achievements on stage, the episode also highlights Aya Nakamura’s personal reflections on ambition, motherhood, creativity and the journey that brought her to one of the biggest stages of her career.

As part of her long-standing relationship with RIMOWA, the Maison also created a bespoke case for Aya Nakamura, specially designed to safely carry her microphone set. Crafted at RIMOWA’s historic factory in Cologne, Germany, the custom case features the brand’s signature anodised grooved aluminium design, leather handle, polished silver details and TSA-approved locks.

By showcasing the moments before, during and after a career-defining performance, RIMOWA’s latest short-form film celebrates the dedication, passion and creative journey behind every unforgettable achievement.
