Thai media reported that the flooding in the Isaan province of Ubon Ratchathani is very dangerous and deadly serious. Reports said that the flooding in Ubon Ratchathani is getting worse.

The Thaiger reported that the water level is rising quickly and it’s affecting almost the whole province. The flooding has affected roads, bridges, farmlands and some houses as they’re now underwater.

Flash floods hit one of the biggest malls in the region, DO Home, located in Ubon Ratchathani province, stranding more than a hundred employees inside.

A rescue squad responded immediately and rushed to the rescue. However, they found every staff was unharmed. As a result, they actively resisted rescue efforts. They preferred to remain in charge of the store’s inventory.

Pita Limjaroenrat, who’s a member of the Thai parliament visited the province and said that the situation was even worse than the huge floods in Thailand in 2011.

From Ubon Ratchathani, Pita said that the flooding would spread to Si Saket, Surin, Buriram, and Khon Khen in Isaan. He also continued that Ubon Ratchathani would require assistance as the water would remain there for months.

In addition to that, The Thaiger also reported that Thai people on social media posted pictures of flooding in the province and requested the government to assist the residents by using the hashtag #UbonFlood.
