The 95th Academy Award, or known as the Oscar, just ended. Congratulations to all winners and nominees for bringing some of the best films, songs, cinematography, talent, and more to the world.
Now, out of all winners, we are going to talk about Michelle Yeoh. The Malaysian-born actress wins her first-ever Oscar for Best Actress. It is actually no surprise because everyone knows that it is going to happen, right?! Before this, she brought home trophies from the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, Independent Spirit, and many more awards.
Michelle’s role in Everything Everywhere All At Once breaks history. It makes her the first Asian and Malaysian to win the category of Best Actress. She receives her trophy, presented by fellow actress Halle Berry who once also won the same category in 2001.
It Seems like the Everything Everywhere All At Once aura is strong. It is not just Michelle who takes home the trophy, but Ke Huy Quan too, and Jamie Lee Curtis too! Overall, the film directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert wins seven categories including Best Picture, Directing, and acting categories.
Other winners of the Oscar are The Whale for Best Actor and RRR for Best Original Song to name a few.
